Mack Dawg is one of the top video photographers in the game and when they come out with films they really mean something in snowboarding, from classics like the resistance and amped to the latest epics like from blank with love and picture this. The man has worked with practically every snowboarder in the game and his latest film looks to continue to top his own creations. The roaster is stacked and the anniversary of 20 years of Mack Dawg is upon us so this film should really set a new bar, one only Mack Dawg will be able to top:

So one of my favorite things about watching skateboard and snowboard videos has to be the music, but I find the hardest thing about finding the music in snowboard videos is the lack of credit. This is especially a problem with trailers. And whats even worse is when the music is instrumental :0

I myself have been riding with Nate's younger brother Dylan for a while now, they are both extremely talented but Nate is the star of Ski Liberty Mountain Resort hands down. He is the only one from the mountain to have competed on x-games level snowboarding events, he has even competed in the Vans Cup and actually took home the prize in 03'. Nate has had a rather bad past year though from losing sponsors to injuries, but I recall his part in the Park City video last year had all of us at Liberty going ape shit.

As some of you do and don't know SIA occurred the past week and with that a lot of new products have dropped that will be hitting us next season. Of which one of the coolest looking things that was on the floor from what I have seen is this fire ass Nomis shirt. I admit I am such a sucker for anything Nomis but it's for good reason, all there shit looks awesome.

I admit I was never really a fan of LRG just because I don't feel like spending 2-3 times the normal amount I spend on a t-shirt for a shirt that has a tree on it. Maybe I am just not gangster enough or enough of a pothead either way I am not all that concerned with what LRG does.

That doesn't mean this isn't a tight ass looking snowboard. Anyone down with LRG will surely desire these boards, I guess they will hit us next season so for those of you fiends keep a look out.

By far the dopest Snowboard video site that there is, these guys put out pure quality videos on a monthly basis, sometimes the wait is a minute but they are always worth it. They just put up a new site for the year 2008 and they got a new video up so check it out and make sure to get the HD version and full screen the shit out of it:

While the last few days have been dope the last event of the competition ends tonight with the Men's Superpipe. For those of you that are sitting here as bored as I am watching this dumb snow mobile shit rest assured the Superpipe is coming and it should be a good one.

So far the contest has had it's share of upsets and with Wig taking the slopestyle again against a board-broken White, things should heat up on the pipe especially with Shaun going for some All-time bests with medals in his pocket.

By far one of the sickest things that went down was what Torstein Horgmo had to offer on the big air. Kicking shit off with a switch backside 1260** yeah you heard me right no misunderstanding on that. He took the event with his Switch 9 shoulder roll, which basically means he did a switch 540 and then threw his body forward mid rotation to invert the rest of the spin, it was insane.

Be sure to peep the Superpipe tonight I am sure it will get kicked off around 10 hopefully so we can see what goes down, word is the Japanese qualified first should be epic :).

For those of you familiar with the skateboard version then this shouldn't be much of a stretch for you. This time around the contest is being held on the snow with the best of the best of the snowboard world. The only thing that is rather interesting is the fact that the Regular team has literally double the number of Goofy riders. Not sure how this will fair for the Goofy side.

The contest is going down Feb. 23rd at Bear Mountain, whether or not Fuel TV will be airing the event that day is left to fuel but knowing them it will air like 4 months later when its 90 degrees out again :P.
