Yahoo to charge $35 dollars for Domain renewals starting... oh now?

Mon, 05/26/2008 - 23:48 — Kevin Green

In what has to be one of the lowest and disgraceful moves in domain history, Yahoo whom was once not a worthless piece of shit has decided to change there 9.99 yearly domain fee to not 12.95 like they would have you believe from the website but instead to $34.95.

Well at least we have time to switch our domains and all that shit right? oh yeah the change occurs? July 1, 2008, so for anyone that doesn't have to renew there domain for a month and isn't paying attention the charge on your credit card later this month is not going to be very friendly.

This news is fucking frustrating, I mean this lil blog has no ads and barely any traffic, if I put google ads on it I doubt it would make 35 bucks a year, and now yahoo is telling me the simple registration of my domains is worth 35 dollars? Keep in mind I like many others have domains they don't even use just on stock, so I have to pay 35 dollars to store my domain on their precious servers, I fucking up Microsoft buys these assholes and straightens them up.

As for me I am looking for a domain registar to switch too because well I have like 10 domains and don't feel like paying 250 more dollars than I have been a year for yahoos fucking dns pointing technology :/.
